This research project observes and records the artefacts deposited by the tide in a defined 30ft square area on the banks of the River Thames at the foot of the Dog and Duck Stairs. This activity recalls and is inspired by the Mudlarks who used to operate in this location. The research is carried out according to the rhythm of the tides and in a historically significant location, Surrey Commercial Docks.
